THANKSGIVING DAY 5 KM RUN/WALK
AT LIPPOLD PARK

WHEN: Thursday, November 23, 2023
START:  8 A. M. Sharp (Rain, snow or shine)
WHERE:  Lippold Park, Crystal Lake, Illinois
851 W. IL Route 176; About 1/2 mile west of the intersection
of US Route 14 & IL Route 176

DISTANCE & COURSE:
5 Km(3.1 miles) certified course with markers every 1/2 mile.
Flat & mostly crushed limestone.
WAIVER & RELEASE:              
In order to participate in this event all runners & walkers
must complete and sign the Thanksgiving Day Run 2022,

WALK IN REGISTRATION:
Running Depot Wednesday, 11/22/2023 from Noon to 3 PM
Lippold Park, Thursday, 11/23/2023 from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM

DIRECTIONS:          
Lippold Park is located on the south side of Rt. 176
on the west side of Crystal Lake and approximately
1/2 mile west of the intersection of Rt. 14 and Rt. 176. 

ENTRY FEE: 
VOLUNTARY Monetary and or Non-Perishable Food Donations will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. Food items only accepted on RACE DAY at Lippold Park. We strongly suggest that you make a monetary donation by check because the food pantry is able to purchase approximately 7 times more food with your money donation than you could purchase individually.  All check donations, that have a postal address on the check will receive an acknowledge of their donation. Food pantry is in need of paper goods this year.

RESULTS:
There will be two display clocks located at the finish to record your own time.  

AWARDS:  
Gift certificates for the first place male and female finishers will be provided by the The Running Depot
